Pub & Lounge
Local Attractions

Since 1860, Larkin’s Pub & Restaurant has been the natural centre of life in Milltown, a village at the natural crossroads of Kerry .  Many a cattle deal was sealed with a drink in Larkin’s Pub going back almost 150 years and the traditional relaxed ambiance today evokes memories of a purer time.

The pub still remains a friendly centre point of the village where the welcoming staff and helpful locals are always willing to chat or to help you discover what the locality has to offer.  Proprietor Mike Larkin has a strong sporting link with Gaelic football and the talk in the pub usual rotates between horse racing and the Kerry football team.

With approved accommodation upstairs and a great lunch and dinner menu, Larkin’s Pub & Restaurant is a unique Kerry pub experience and it’s the perfect setting to plan your Kerry adventure…with the help of the locals of course!

But where is Larkin’s Pub?

“I’m the proud owner of Larkin’s, a family pub which has stood watch over the crossroads in the centre of Milltown for almost 150 years. Nestled between the McGillycuddy Reeks to the east and Sliabh Mis to the west, the Kingdom of Kerry is quite literally at your doorstep.  Milltown is the natural crossroads in the county, being a gateway to both the Ring of Kerry to the south and the Dingle Peninsula to the west.  The Lakes of Killarney are only a 10 minute drive to the east with the Rose town of Tralee only 15 minutes north of the village.  You don’t need GPS to find Larkin’s, just give me a call and I’ll be happy to guide you to my home.  You can also fly into Kerry airport from Dublin, London or Frankfurt and Milltown is only a 20 minute taxi ride away!”
